Welcome! This cozy camping & lodge is located by the shores of beautiful lake Sandsjön near the western mountains of Swedish Lapland, more precisely in Västerbotten county.

Sandsjögården's campground houses space for about 20 vehicles with electricity (10A). It is accessible all year-round.

Simple services are available year-round, such as showers, toilets, outhouses and waste station. During summer season there is also a dishwashing hut and dumping outlet for camping toilets and grey water.

On site there is a playground for children equipped with a playing hut, climbing frame, slide, swing, large sandbox and a trampoline. Sandsjögården has three fireplaces for its guests. One is located directly at the beach, one is at the shore inbetween the lodge houses and the third one is some 50 metres off the main site, a small barbecue hut and shelter.

There is also a log-fired sauna at the lakefront. Sauna availability and booking (for an extra cost) directly via Sandsjögården's reception.

Our summer season with full service is from 1 June to 31 August!

The area around Sandsjögården Holiday Resort offers some activities both summer and winter.

Ask at the reception for activity suggestions and directions. Sandsjögården's own adventures, such as Meet & Greet the huskies, husky walks in summer or snowshoe hikes in winter, electric jetboarding or paddling in summer and snowmobile tours, crosscountry skiing with huskies or a visit to the reindeer in winter are displayed at the reception or can be found on Sandsjögården's adventure platform, www.sjg-adventure.com .

The campsite is open all year-round.

During the summer season, 1 June - 31 August full service is available. Sandsjögården then offers the possibility to book breakfast or buy home baked bread from the reception (reservation on the day before required).

At the beach, Sandsjögården's outdoor lounge "The Beach Shack" is located. During summer season and in given weather conditions* it is open for beverages, coffee, drinks, ice cream and a small food selection from mid morning to late.

* During periods of heavy rainfall or extreme and chilly wind, the Beach Shack for safety reasons remains closed.

During winter season, 20 December - 31 March, camping guests are welcome to book in for breakfast and/or dinner at the lodge.

Please note that the dumping station and dishwashing hut is closed and frozen during winter. Sandsjögården offers its camping guests to hand in their used dishes at the reception. The staff then takes care of the dishwashing and gives back the clean dishes.

Dogs are welcome at Sandsjögården. Please note that your dog must always be on the leash and we kindly ask all our guests with dogs to not walk the dogs within Sandsjögården for peeing. There are numberous of wonderful kilometers out there to walk your dog outside of the camping facility. Dog droppings must be collected. You can dispose the bags in the waste.
