Torne Camping & Fiskecamp

Torne Camping & Fishing Camp is peacefully situated by Lake Åsen, surrounded by beautiful birch and beech woodland. Here you will find around 70 pitches for caravans and motorhomes, as well as a smaller tent area.

At the campsite there is a well-maintained service building equipped with most of what you may need during your stay. Toilets, showers, a kitchen with stove and microwave oven, as well as dishwashing facilities, are available here. Naturally, there is also an accessible toilet with shower and combined baby changing room, as well as a laundry room.

If you prefer to stay in a cabin, you will also find this option at Torne Camping. The cabins are small and pleasant with well-planned interiors, where all essentials for a delightful stay are gathered. At the reception you do not only check in; here you will also find a kiosk and a café with Wi-Fi available.

For children there are also activities such as a play tower, jumping pillow, swings and a seesaw. If you wish to take a trip out on the beautiful lake, canoes and boats are available for hire. If you prefer to remain by the shoreline, you can do so at the fine bathing area.

Boating and fishing are some of the activities best suited to Torne Camping. Lake Åsen is one of Småland's largest lakes with an area of over 170 km2. There are over 100 islands and the average depth is around 3-4 metres.

The campsite is located on the western side of Åsen in direct connection to the beautiful lake. In the lake you can expect to find everything from pikeperch, pike and perch to eel and other small fish such as bream and tench.

The nature around Torne Camping is unique and unspoilt, which makes for great walks in the various nature reserves. The nearest large town from Torne camping is Växsjö.

If you want to get into all the temptations of the city, a visit here is recommended. Have an ice cream, shop for some new clothes or why not enjoy something good to eat and drink. Other exciting activities available include Småland's moose safari in Markaryd where you can get really close to these majestic animals.

If you want a fun stay for the whole family, the High Chaparral amusement park is not too far away either. Experience a full day in the Wild West and then return safely and harmoniously to the tranquillity of Torne Camping.

Torne Camping accept credit cards, and cash in sek or Euros. 8 km from the campsite there are ATMs in the village of Grimslöv.

Arrival at Torne camping must take place between 12:00-20:00. After this the barrier closes for the night. If you are checking into a cabin, this is possible after 14:00.

Departure from the campsite must take place before 12:00.

Dogs are always welcome at Torne camping, but remember to use dog bags and leashes!
