Waldpark Camp

Welcome to Waldpark Camp - your retreat surrounded by greenery! In an idyllic location near Landolfshausen, nestled in the wooded hills of southern Lower Saxony, a natural and special place with plenty of peace, a family atmosphere and lots of open space awaits you. The Waldpark Camp is ideal for campers or vanlife enthusiasts and offers spacious pitches that blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings. We also welcome individual motorhomes and caravans. You will find a safe and weather-independent shelter with a certain level of comfort in our cosy and heatable log cabins.

Well-maintained sanitary facilities with showers and toilets, electricity connections and access to drinking water are available free of charge on the site. Dogs are very welcome - because four-legged friends should also be able to feel free and comfortable here.

Our many campfires, fire bowls and barbecue facilities are something special, so everyone can find their own fire pit here. The communal area with its large plancha fire bowl is not only popular with groups, with a barbecue hut with a covered fire pit, cosy seating, tables and benches and table tennis tables, it offers play opportunities for children and cosy get-togethers for adults. You can barbecue and cook here, and it's not uncommon for the evening to end here in front of a cosily lit and covered open fire.

Whether as a stopover on your journey or for a longer, slower-paced stay - the Waldpark is certainly no ordinary campsite, but it offers simplicity and a genuine closeness to nature without you having to do without useful and practical things or a certain level of comfort.

The location of the Waldpark Campsite is ideal for nature lovers, hikers and those seeking peace and quiet. Numerous hiking and cycling trails lead directly from the site through the forests, fields and rolling hills of the region. The nearby Seeburger See, just 8 km away, is particularly popular - perfect for swimming, boating or a cosy picnic on a jetty.

For cultural excursions, a visit to Göttingen, only around 15 km away, is well worthwhile. The traditional university town offers historic architecture, a wide range of restaurants and cosy shopping streets. The charming town of Duderstadt with its medieval old town and the Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal Nature Park are also within easy reach.

Whether you want to get active or relax, there is plenty for young and old to discover around the Waldpark Camp.

At Waldpark Camp, we value sustainability, tranquillity and naturalness. Advance booking is recommended. You can find delicious food for the barbecue within walking distance from the farmer next door, a wide range of regional fruit and vegetables as well as the farm's own wood-fired bread and tasty bread rolls at the Brothof organic food shop in Waake. Everything else can be found in the supermarkets in Ebergötzen and Klein Lengden.

You can go out in Seeburg in the restaurant with a view of the Seeburg lake, in Gieboldehausen, Rohringen or Herberhausen and of course in Duderstadt and Göttingen.

The site is particularly suitable for campers who want to experience nature and switch off without sacrificing basic amenities. Children can play carefree, adults can enjoy the peace and quiet - and at night the clear starry sky provides a real camping feeling.
