Camp Kajutan

Welcome to Camp Kajutan!

Camp Kajutan is the small campsite located next to the Skellefte River. The campsite is located on the south side of the Skellefte River, about 1 mile east of Skellefteå. The campsite offers large pitches right next to the river, here you will get a cosy and personal camping experience out of the ordinary. There are 36 pitches in total, all equally suitable for caravans, motorhomes and tents.

Camp Kajutan has most of the facilities such as a kiosk, café, entertainment, flea market, a new and fresh service building with sauna, showers, laundry room, latrine emptying and toilets. The facility is of course also handicapped accessible. In addition to all this, the campsite is close to both the beach and the swimming pool, where both young and old guests can enjoy themselves on sunny days.

Café Kajutan is also located right next to Camp Kajutan. Café Kajutan is the perfect meeting place outside Skellefteå for both small and large groups. Here you can meet, have a drink and a bite to eat. Why not enjoy the famous shrimp sandwiches or perhaps something lighter like pizza, baked potatoes or some pancakes for the little ones in your party. Café Kajutan is the café with the long history. Since the 1920s there has been shipbuilding, shipping, boatyard and timber towing in the vicinity of the café. In the early 1980s the business was closed down and the premises became a boat museum instead. In this idyllic boating museum you can see both everyday boats from the early 1900s and a relatively large collection of boat engines.
