Camping Les Casteillets

Il Camping Les Casteillets è un piccolo e accogliente campeggio tre stelle a Saint Jean Pla de Corts, nella tranquilla campagna catalana dei Pirenei Orientali. La struttura a conduzione familiare accoglie gli ospiti dal 1998 e si trova tra il Mediterraneo e i Pirenei, con vista sui monti Albères e sul Canigou, la montagna sacra dei catalani. Qui non vi è rumore di traffico, solo canto degli uccelli.

Il campeggio dispone di 54 piazzole spaziose di circa 100 m², soleggiate o parzialmente ombreggiate e ben delimitate, per tende, caravan e camper. È incluso un veicolo ed è disponibile un allaccio elettrico da 10A. In loco è presente un’area di servizio per camper.

Vi è un’ampia scelta di unità in affitto per ogni budget, dalla Vacanciale e dalla Cabane fino allo Chalet Confort per coppie e alle case mobili Standard e Confort per famiglie. Le case mobili Premium offrono fino a 40 m² con tre camere da letto e la maggior parte delle unità è dotata di aria condizionata.

Nei giorni più caldi ci si può rilassare presso la piscina riscaldata, aperta da metà aprile a metà ottobre, con lettini prendisole e vele ombreggianti, mentre i più piccoli si divertono nella piscina per bambini. Ci si può anche rinfrescare nel fiume proprio accanto al campeggio. Sono presenti un bar ristorante, un piccolo minimarket, un’area giochi e un campo polisportivo. In alta stagione l’équipe di animazione propone un programma vario con zumba, acquagym, calcio e pallanuoto, gonfiabili e attività per bambini durante il giorno, e karaoke, tornei di pétanque, nuoto notturno, serate a tema e cabaret la sera.

Tra gli altri servizi figurano lavatrici e asciugatrici, WiFi a pagamento in tutto il campeggio, una stazione di ricarica per veicoli elettrici e il prestito di racchette da ping pong, giochi da tavolo e libri alla reception. Cani e gatti sono i benvenuti gratuitamente.

Two lakes lie just 2 km from the campsite and can be reached on foot. In summer they offer supervised swimming, a wakepark, a treetop adventure course, pedal boats, inflatable water games and the lakeside restaurant La Guinguette du Lac. A 2 km path around the lake is lovely for a walk or bike ride, with the Canigou in view.

Céret, the town of artists once home to Picasso, is about 4 km away. Visit the Museum of Modern Art, the medieval Devil's Bridge over the Tech and the old town with its fountains and cobbled streets. The Saturday morning market runs all year, and in late May the town celebrates its famous cherries. The Tech cycle path links Céret with the Mediterranean.

The thermal baths of Le Boulou are 5 km away and those of Amélie les Bains around 12 km. The sea is about 30 minutes by car, with Argelès sur Mer 25 km away and Collioure, Port Vendres and Banyuls along the Côte Vermeille. Spain is only 15 minutes away: shop in Le Perthus and La Jonquera, or continue to the Costa Brava, Figueres and Girona. In winter the nearest ski resorts are about an hour and a half away.

Rentals are available from 16:00 on arrival day and must be vacated by 10:00 on departure day, after a check out inspection booked at reception. Pitches are available from 12:00 and must be vacated by 12:00. If you arrive late, please call reception and they will tell you how to settle in.

Rental guests clean the unit themselves before leaving, or can book a cleaning package at reception. Bed linen and blankets are not provided but can be rented. A baby kit can be borrowed on request. One parking space is included on your plot, and you may only park on your own pitch.

Individual charcoal and electric barbecues are not allowed. Pets must be identified and vaccinated, one animal per pitch, and they cannot be left alone. Dogs of category 1 and 2 are not accepted. Pets are not allowed at the pool. The pool is not supervised, swim shorts are not allowed, and in season a campsite wristband is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Visitors must register at reception and do not have access to the pool.

Reception speaks French, English, Spanish and German.
