Kilens Hembygdsgård, located in Sideby, Kristinestad, is an extensive museum and leisure area founded in 1968. It is located in a beautiful natural environment, next to an old fishing village on the coast of the Bothnian Sea. The museums on site represent farming, fishing and folk culture and provide knowledge of the lives and lifestyles of previous generations.
Restaurant and café The restaurant and café, is located in Starcke's house. Kilen has become popular for its good food in a cozy atmosphere.
More and more people are choosing to visit Kilen as an excursion and travel destination. Visitors from near and far enjoy studying the museums or wandering around in the beautiful nature. The sunset over the sea is a special experience. You can stay overnight on the grounds of Hostel Kilstrand, in your camper, caravan or boat in the guest harbour.

Kleiner Stellplatz, war gegen Abend voll…aber alles entspannt und kein Problem. Sehr sauberes WC, sehr saubere Dusche vor der Sauna. Aktuell ist die Schlüsselbox kaputt und die Dusche wird über ein Pappschild geregelt. Hat aber super funktioniert. Die Umgebung ist nett mit dem Museum und dem Hafen. Gut für 1-2 Nächte. Schöner kleiner Sandstrand
