Lossisaari Tourist Center

Located in the heart of North Savo, in Keitele, Lossisaari Tourist Center offers tourists a unique experience in the middle of Finnish nature. This destination is not just a campsite, but a true recreational oasis, offering a wide range of services and activities for visitors of all ages.

Lossisaari Tourist Center has its own restaurant where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch or meals prepared to order. The restaurant's menu includes grilled products, pizzas, salads and savoury and sweet delicacies, prepared daily in its own kitchen. Drinks, sweets, groceries, toys and souvenirs are also available.

Guests also have access to free electricity, a chemical toilet for emptying indoor tanks, a spacious and modern communal sauna, which can also be booked for private use, and a free washing machine. A communal kitchen, shower and toilet are available to all guests of the centre all year round in heated facilities.

In addition, Lossisaari Tourist Center offers a wide range of outdoor and sports facilities, including rowing boats and a Buster motorboat for hire, a frisbee golf course, rental bikes, fishing equipment, use of the tennis court, SUP boat hire and an outdoor sports and fitness area.

The surroundings of Lossisaari offer great opportunities to explore the beautiful nature and culture of northern Savo. Nearby riding centres offer horseback riding and group rides for the whole family. The nature trail that runs along the southern and northern parts of Lossisaari invites hikers, and the barbecue shelters, pavilions and campfires along the trail provide an excellent setting for breaks and picnics.

The area's waterways offer a wide range of water sports activities, including SUP boating and boat trips. The rich nature of the area also invites you to go berry picking and mushroom picking.
